Dolphins in Paradise Tangalooma snorkelling cruise was fantastic

Dolphins in Paradise Tangalooma snorkelling cruise was fantastic, wonderful staff, so helpful with snorkelling amateurs, great views of the wreck and sea creatures and lunch was delicious. Everyone should do it even if you just want a swim in the lovely water of Moreton Bay it's well worth it.

Fun and affordable boat trip out to Tangalooma complete with friendly staff and a delicious lunch

Fun and affordable boat trip out to Tangalooma complete with friendly staff and a delicious lunch. Took the in-laws who were visiting from the UK and they were blown away by the beautiful scenery and amazing sea life on display - dolphins, turtles, dugongs and tropical fish all on Brisbane's doorstep. They still talk about the experience and rate it as the highlight on their Australian holiday. Would recommend to both tourists and locals looking for an accommodating day trip over to Moreton Island.

A pick-up from our hotel was arranged on this tour which made it so convenient

A pick-up from our hotel was arranged on this tour which made it so convenient. It took us an hour to reach Moreton Island by boat. We had lunch on board and then went on to enjoy on the beach. The beach was beyond stunning with white sand and pristine clear water. My family absolutely enjoyed the snorkelling session, and I could not have asked for a better experience.

It was a great cruise experience

It was a great cruise experience. The boat is clean and well maintained, captain and crew members are professional and helpful. Moreton Island is such a beautiful place. The sand is fine and the water is clear. It was a great first time snorkelling experience for our kids too. Watching dolphin, dugong, hammerhead shark at a close distance had added an excitement to the trip. We love it and this trip is definitely mesmerising!!

We had a great day on the tour

We had a great day on the tour. Unfortunately, we went on a pretty gloomy day but it was still good as we managed to see dolphins and turtles. It was a great tour but we just wish the snorkelling at the wrecks was more structured as it would have given us more insight with more to see. Nonetheless, the tour was great with knowledgeable staff and highly recommended.

It was the perfect day for a trip out to the Island
Linda 2 years ago

It was the perfect day for a trip out to the Island, calm waters and little wind. The crew were all very helpful. We were lucky enough to see a couple of dugongs in the gorgeous turquoise waters. I didn't realise how much beautiful tropical fish would be around the shipwrecks. I think the cost of the snorkelling should be included in the price, not extra. If people don't want to swim or snorkel they should just pay for a boat ride to the island (don't know why you would go on a trip if you don't want to swim or snorkel as there isn't much else to do on the boat).

I really enjoyed this adventure
Julia Austin 2 years ago

I really enjoyed this adventure, not realising that Tangalooma/Moreton Island was such a great destination. We were lucky to have stunning weather and great visibility in the water, so the snorkelling was fantastic. The boat was clean; the crew very friendly, and it was clear that the boat captain was trying hard to give us a good experience. The food was good too for lunch - chicken and prawns, with salad, followed by watermelon and oranges as a snack. I'm thinking about doing it again! Only comments - your website needs to be clearer - I didn't realise that snorkelling was extra. And the sunscreen on the boat, being used by many tourists, was not waterproof. This is not good. I went around and applied my own waterproof sunscreen on a few, very white tourists. Nothing will ruin a great day than being badly burned on a 32 degree C day.
